Minor Injuries, Major Warning: PRSD Urges Caution on Roads
On June 20, 2025, a passenger vehicle struck a PRSD bus, generating a 4.9 G-force at impact.
The bus driver, another adult passenger, and one student were on board. EMS assessed the individuals and they all were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at hospital, but a slight change in the situation could have led to a much more tragic outcome.
As our buses return to the road, the Peace River School Division urges all drivers to use extreme caution and reduce their speed, particularly during school hours. Let's work together to ensure everyone gets to school and home again safely.
