Bus Pass Fees

School Bus Rates for Students

Students whose home address is the specified distance from their school, are eligible for bussing.

Students in Grade K-6	1.6 KM
Students in Grade 7-12	2.0 KM

INELIGIBLE STUDENT - one round trip on the same bus route	$450
INELIGIBLE STUDENT - family of three (3) or more, one round trip on the same bus route	$1,125
INELIGIBLE STUDENT - shared custody - one round trip from each custodial parent's home	$450
INELIGIBLE STUDENT - Family of three (3) or more - shared custody - one round trip from each custodial parent's home	$1,125
INELIGIBLE STUDENT - childcare stop on the same bus route as home bus route	$450
INELIGIBLE STUDENT - Family of three (3) or more - shared custody - childcare stop on the same bus route as home bus route	$1,125

ELIGIBLE STUDENT - one round trip on the same bus route	No Charge
ELIGIBLE STUDENT - shared custody - one round trip from each custodial parent's home	No Charge
ELIGIBLE STUDENT - childcare stop on the same bus route as home bus route	No Charge

Any additional stops (other than listed above) for both ineligible and eligible students	$450
Late fee for bus registrations received after August 5, 2025	$50

ECS through Grade 12 students with a severe disability/delay are not subject to bus fees
The late registration fee does not apply to student who have moved to the area after June 30, 2025
Childcare stops are available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 6, only.
We are unable to offer partial trip reduction of fees for anyone requiring only one-way transportation to or from school.
Payment plans may be available, upon request
To ensure students have access to education, the Division has a process for forgiving or adjusting fees where economic hardship can be demonstrated. To apply for a reduction or removal of fees, families can complete the Application for Waiver of School Fees.
