Honoring the Past, Building a Better Future: Orange Shirt Day 2025

This year, our schools will observe Orange Shirt Day on Monday, September 29 in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This is a vital opportunity for us to reflect on the legacy of the residential school system and to honor the healing journey of residential school survivors and their families.
Wearing an orange shirt has become a powerful symbol of our collective commitment to the message that Every Child Matters. It’s a way for us to show our solidarity, raise awareness, and engage in meaningful conversations with our children about reconciliation.
To help our school community participate, we are once again offering the opportunity to purchase an Orange Shirt. The shirts will cost just $10 each.
This year there are two different t-shirt designs. Design 1 is available in the following sizes: Youth XS, S, M, L, or XL, and Adult Adult S, M, and L. Design 2 is available in the following sizes: Adult XL, 2XL and 3XL
How to Order:
Please note that ordering procedures may vary from school to school. Before placing your order, we kindly ask that you check with your child’s school directly for information on how to purchase your shirt.
The deadline to order an orange shirt is September 9.
