The Peace River School Division Board of Trustees attended a special meeting of the Board on Monday, September 16, 2024 to discuss the newspaper article titled “PRSD Trustee Dion’s sanction was re-examined by the PRSD Board,” as it appeared in the September 11, 2024 issue of the Mile Zero-Banner Post.
Following an in-camera discussion, the Board moved that Board Chair Crystal Owens work alongside Administration to draft a public statement addressing the article and request that the newspaper publish a correction of the factual inaccuracies contained therein.
