#DrivingSuccess: Staff Celebration
Congratulations to Grimshaw Public School Educational Assistant Benjamin Meagher on being selected as the #DrivingSuccess Staff nominee in May. Mr. Meagher is being celebrated for building strong relationships with students while being a versatile member of the GPS team.
"Mr. Meagher has been an amazing addition to GPS," wrote Principal Jessica Shaw. "In junior high and high school ELA classes he was able to develop rapport with the students and assist students with the content of the course. He circulates amongst the students and helps with classroom management and getting students to meet the curricular outcomes that are required in the given lesson."
Ms. Shaw went on to say that students actively seek out the assistance of Mr. Meagher, demonstrating his ability to connect on a personal level with the students at GPS.
"Mr. Meagher has the flexibility to move from junior/senior high to elementary and is working one-on-one with several students with specialized programs. His initiative and active engagement with this role and the specialists involved has been commendable!"
Thank you Mr. Meagher for demonstrating a strong commitment to helping the youth in our Division discover and embrace the keys to their educational success. Congratulations on being this month's example of what #DrivingSuccess in PRSD schools looks like.
