Families Matter Week 2024

Today marks the start of Families Matter week 2024 across the Peace River School Division.

This week, and every day, we acknowledge the positive impact families have on student learning. Thank you for making lunches, helping with homework, ensuring students have packed their bags with all of their sports equipment, and volunteering for class trips and other special events.

To learn more about why the Peace River School Division celebrates Families Matter Week, check out this interview Superintendent Adam Murray did with Trending 55, Peace River radio.

"This is this has been a tradition with Peace River School Division, since the first year I was principal . . . we just wanted to make sure that everyone out there takes a week to acknowledge the importance of their whole village and how important that whole village is to student success."
