2023/24 Workshop Series
Teachers and educational staff show up for students everyday, and they are in a unique position to be some of the most important trusted adults in a youths’ life. It’s not always easy to know what to say or when to say it to support students who are going through challenges - sometimes it might also be best to refer them to someone else, but who is the right agency or person?
The “Showing Up For Students & Co-Workers'' workshop series gives teachers and staff the knowledge and skills to better support others in many of the challenges that will come their way. Participants may take modules 2-9 to complete the Community Helpers certificate or jump in whichever modules are relevant to their work environment.
When: Tuesday's from 4pm until 5:00pm
2024: March 5th, March 12th, March 26th, April 9th, April 16th, April 23rd
Where: All workshops will be held online in an engaging and interactive format.
