New look for PRSD websites

May 12, 2021 - Peace River School Division (PRSD) is excited to announce the launch of a new divisional website and 18 new school websites on the morning of Monday, May 17, 2021.
Some highlights of the new websites include increased mobile and multi-device functionality, modernized layout, collapsible navigation menus, and school status alerts. Popular features that remain the same from PRSD’s previous website include the organization of student and parent information, and quick links to school bus updates, the school calendar and social media platforms on both the school and divisional sites.
Another new feature of the site is a staff portal where all staff-related information will be stored and password protected. The organization of content in the password-protected staff portal provides more space and functionality on the site for public users and for staff, it makes finding information more efficient and organized.
“Ensuring that we continue to advance in technology and communication is very important to us as online communication is how the majority of our communities engage and seek information” says Board Chair Darren Kuester.
The new websites were designed by Rally (formerly Box Clever), a reputable and highly experienced web development company located in Sherwood Park that specializes in websites for school divisions.
The new websites can be viewed at www.prsd.ab.ca on the morning of May 17, 2021.
