National Bullying Awareness Week |

November 15-21 is National Bullying Awareness Week and a great opportunity to raise awareness to prevent bullying. Peace River School Division (PRSD) would like to take this opportunity to thank students, parents, staff, community members and organizations for their support in safe and caring schools.
PRSD schools are active participants in various initiatives that support bully free zones. The Olweus Anti-bullying program, Effective Behavioural Supports Program and the Dare to Care School Culture program are some of the great initiatives in place in several of our schools.

The Excellence in Teaching Awards program is now open and parents, staff and community members are invited to show their appreciation by nominating an outstanding teacher or principal for an Excellence in Teaching Award.
The Excellence in Teaching Awards Program recognizes the innovative and outstanding teaching that takes place everyday in classrooms across Alberta. This program provides Albertans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many contributions teachers and principals make to student learning.
