PRSD 2023 Edwin Parr Nominee
PRSD is excited to announce Kaitlin Saunderson as our 2023 Edwin Parr Nominee. Kaitlin currently teaches Grade 2 at E.E. Oliver Elementary School and has shown a commitment to education and student success during her first year of teaching.
Kaitlin creates meaningful connections with both students and staff alike, and she consistently employs a range of effective strategies that enhance her students’ learning experiences.
The Alberta School Trustees’ Association (now known as the ASBA) established the Edwin Parr Teacher Award in 1964. Now, for almost 60 years, these awards have been given to outstanding first year teachers across the province.
