Celebrating Our Dedicated Team: A New Chapter in Long-Service Recognition

For many years, Peace River School Division has proudly honoured the incredible dedication of our staff through a centralized Long-Service Awards Gala. These evenings were a wonderful opportunity to gather as a division and celebrate the milestones of our colleagues. We cherish the memories made at these events and the chance to collectively acknowledge the commitment that forms the backbone of our schools and the division as a whole.
However, the Division's commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that all members of our team have the opportunity to participate fully in these celebrations led to the Board of Trustees' decision in February of this year to evolve our approach to long-service awards.
Today, three of our schools recognized their long-service award recipients with site-based celebrations. Grimshaw Public School celebrated the following staff:
