If a Class 1 driving career is on your radar, now is the time to book your spot. North Peace Commercial Driving Academy is taking registrations for Class 1 Driver Training beginning early in the new year, and booking ahead means you can secure the best available schedule.

Our Core Learning program gives you hands-on, in-yard and in-cab instruction, including a two-day air brake course and 10 days of training, so you arrive at your provincial road test confident and prepared. Want to go further? Our Interprovincial Licence package adds the 1.5 day Competence Building program, which consists of a personalized plan to help you build your skills and remove the provincial restriction from your licence.

To register for training, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Hold an Alberta non-probationary driver’s licence
• Complete the online Entry Program through Alberta.ca
• Complete a Driver’s Medical examination through a physician
