On behalf of T.A. Norris Middle School, we would like to congratulate Harris Doucette on receiving a $1,000 University of Alberta scholarship. Harris worked incredibly hard to earn this achievement through her dedication to science and academic excellence.

This is the second consecutive year that Harris has qualified for the National Science Fair. After earning 1st place at the Regional Science Fair in March, she secured her spot at the National Science Fair, which was held in Edmonton from May 24–30.

When asked what she learned from this experience she said, "You don't have to win at the national level. It's all about the experience of meeting people,  labs, exploring new places, and learning about other students' projects."

Her words reflect the true spirit of science fairs—curiosity, learning, and making connections. We are proud of Harris for representing T.A. Norris Middle School and our community with such a positive attitude and passion for learning. Congratulations again on your many accomplishments and this well-deserved scholarship!
