This time of year is always exciting because the months ahead will bring many opportunities to celebrate as students reach both personal and academic goals. However, I also want to acknowledge something equally important: not every goal will be reached the first time.

There will be moments when students miss the mark, get off track, or fall short of the goals they have set for themselves. When that happens, I encourage each and every one of our students to understand that these moments do not define failure. Instead, they are opportunities to evaluate, reset, refocus, and try again.

It is often through these challenges that we build perseverance and resilience, two qualities that will serve our students well throughout school and, more importantly, throughout life. Success isn't about never falling short; it's about having the courage and determination to keep moving forward when we do.

Believe in yourself. Your team: your parents and guardians, teachers, school staff, and administration believes in you too!

Wise words are wonderful, but they hit a little differently when you know the person saying them truly has your best interests at heart. I hope every student at TAN feels that way about the team of people surrounding and supporting them here at school.

And so, I’ll leave you with the simple but powerful words my father has shared with me many times:

“You Can Do It!”
