PRSD Recognizes Fairview High Student for Perfect Score on Math 30-1 Diploma Exam

June 13, 2019 - During a school assembly at Fairview High School (FHS), PRSD Board Trustee, Robyn Robertson recognized and celebrated a student for achieving a perfect score on his Math Diploma Exam.
Reid Laue, a current Grade 12 student from Fairview High School scored 100% on his Math 30-1 Diploma exam written in January 2019.
Reid is described as an extremely hard-working student and is always willing to help out and his contributions have had a positive impact on the school as a whole. “Reid is a real leader among his peers and is always willing to help out. His contributions have had a positive impact on the school as a whole,” says FHS Vice Principal, Darren Phelps.
Trustee Robertson extended congratulations to Reid’s successes as this is now the second time he has received 100% on a Provincial Exam; the first time being when Reid received 100% on his Grade 3 Math Provincial Achievement Test.
Reid’s Math teacher, Mr. Hovey commented that Reid also received 98% on his Physics 30 exam and indicated that he is a very intelligent young man who catches on to the material quickly.
Trustee Robertson presented Laue with a certificate of recognition and commented, “We at Peace River School Division, are also very proud of you and we commend and thank you for being such a wonderful student, role model and leader.”
