PRSD schools raise $23,984.40 for cancer research

In late September, schools throughout Peace River School Division held school walks, runs and various school challenges in honour of the Terry Fox legacy and to raise money for cancer research.

We are thrilled to announce that division-wide PRSD schools raised $23,984.40 for cancer research.

School participation in Terry Fox events is important to PRSD as it raises awareness to this important cause that impacts so many families while at the same time promotes the attributes of citizenship, generosity, community, leadership and kindness.

PRSD thanks students, staff, parents and community members for their outstanding generosity and support. What a great example of our mission statement, “Learning together – success for all” and what can be achieved when we work together.
