If you have Windows XP, Vista, 7 we recommend that you use the Remote Desktop Client that is installed on your computer. You can find the Remote Desktop Connection in your Start Menu in the Accessories category.

Once you launch it you will see the following window. Type "prsdterm.prsd.ab.ca" in the computer field and click connect. Once you are connected login as you would at the school. Enter you username and password and select your domain.

Please note PRSDnet is a private network of Peace River School Division No. 10 and authorization is required for access.

If for some reason the icon is missing from your start menu click Start then Run and enter "mstsc.exe" in the command prompt.

You can also connect by downloading and run this Remote Desktop Configuration File. If you get any security errors you can ignore them.

Microsoft currently has a download that allows Mac users to use remote desktop. The product can be downloaded at this Microsoft site.

Internet Software Download

• Download and run the Brigit Software.
• Find the meeting you want to join in the list of meetings.
• Click Join Meeting
• Enter the meeting password (if applicable).

If you are having trouble connecting to the server enter "prsdbridge.prsd.ab.ca:88" as the server, then hit connect.
